Position Summary:

The Order Assembly Reviewer works in fast paste & cold environment. This position reports to the Order Assembly Lead and Packaging Supervisor. The teammate in this position has strong leadership and communication skills. The Order Assembly Reviewer has strong communication and organization skills. The teammate in this position understands about Food Safety Compliance. Follows direction from management as needed to meet departmental goals.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Checks pre-packed inventory items to ensure these are re-use
  • Ensures that Order Assemblers keeps their assigned lines with all the correct information on packages
  • Checks for all correct information on Company’s packages such us; packaging date, labels on tubs, packed herbs
  • Learns all customers to understand packaging requirements and expectations for each
  • Trains new teammates in the Order Assembly Department for one month and a half minimum
  • Ensures that labeling machines are operating prior to the start of the shift
  • Checks and ensure that line convers is operating and functioning accordingly
  • Maintains effective communication with all Line Coordinators
  • Re-checks to ensure all order going via FedEx are pack correctly and recorded accordingly
  • Assists Order Assemblers with trouble shooting the labeling machines
  • Participates in meetings when required
  • Communicates with the Coordinator to meet production goals
  • Embraces diversity well and can work close with others as needed
  • Communicates effectively with all personnel
  • Supports Food Safety programs and adheres to Company’s procedures and policies
  • Follows department training guidelines, best practices and operating procedures
  • Maintains an organized working area
  • Wears personal protective equipment when it is necessary to ensure the Company’s compliance
  • Adapts well to changes within the assigned department and follows directions from management
  • Reports any observed safety hazards to the immediate Supervisor
  • Other duties may be assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic math
  • Adapts to cold environment
  • Good attendance
  • Strong organizational & communications skills

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Production or manufacturing setting experience
  • 1 Year of production or manufacturing setting experience
  • Bilingual, English & Spanish
  • Experience with Food Safety programs
